Just the Facts
Because we are trying to expand our services to more people in the region, we are currently seeking board certified physicians to join our group. We offer a generous salary and a benefits package including malpractice insurance, health insurance, 20 days vacation, CME time, moving expenses, professional dues, and journal allowance.
During the first year of employment at IMG, each physician is an employee of the corporation. During the second year, the physician may be offered partnership. There are three separate call schedules: cardiology, gastroenterology, and general call, which is shared by the rest of the group.
All physicians are involved in the long range planning of the practice. The Board of Directors (all of the partners), the entity that governs the group, provides guidance to the group and makes major decisions relative to the practice. The Board of Directors meets twice a month.
There is also an Executive Committee (four elected partners), which is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the practice and carrying out decisions of the Board of Directors. The Executive Committee meets once a week.
