Timothy M. Gardner, MD, FACC

Dr. Timothy Gardner specializes in cardiovascular diseases, especially those related to coronary and peripheral artery disease.
He graduated from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and completed his residency in internal medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. Dr. Gardner obtained his Fellowships in cardiovascular diseases and interventional cardiology at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
He has been board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases and interventional cardiology.
Dr. Gardner’s professional affiliations include the Wyoming Medical Society, the American Medical Association and the American College of Cardiology, for which he is a Fellow.
His favorite pastimes are fishing, camping and sports. He joined IMG in 1996.

Larry J. Hattel, MD, FACC
Dr. Larry Hattel graduated from the University of Louisville in Kentucky. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Louisville. Dr. Hattel completed his Fellowship in cardiovascular diseases and subspecialty-interventional cardiology at the University of Louisville.
He joined IMG in 1991. Dr. Hattel provides consultation and a full range of diagnostic procedures for patients with cardiovascular diseases. His specialties include echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, balloon angioplasty, athrectomy, intra-aortic balloon pumping, and research in interventional cardiology.
The National Board of Medical Examiners, the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American College of Cardiology have certified him.
Dr. Hattlel is a member of the American College of Cardiology and the Wyoming Medical Society.
His hobbies include fishing, hunting and skiing sports.

Michael R. Spaulding, MD
Dr. Michael Spaulding joined IMG in 1998. He received his doctorate from New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY. Dr. Spaulding completed his residency, fellowship in cardiology, and interventional fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
He provides consultation and a full range of diagnostic and interventional procedures in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases. Dr. Spaulding’s specialties include cardiac catheterization and stents.
He is a member of the American College of Physicians, Alpha Omega Alpha and the Wyoming Medical Society.
He enjoys downhill skiing.

Michael B. Higginbotham, MD
Dr. Michael Higginbotham completed specialty training at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC and St. Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne, Australia.
He earned his doctorate from the University of Melbourne, Royal Melbourne Hospital.
Dr. Higginbotham has worked in the medical field since 1980, initially serving as assistant cardiologist in the open-heart surgery unit of St. Vincent’s Hospital. He joined the staff of IMG in 2004.
Dr. Higginbotham is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians and a member of several other organizations, including the American Heart Association and the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand.
He is board certified in internal medicine and cardiology.

Gerrie Gardner, DO, FACC, FACP
Dr. Gardner attended medical school at the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona, California. She completed her Internal Medicine residency and Chief Residency at Highland General Hospital in Oakloand, California.
She finished her Cardiology Fellowship at the University of California Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, California.
Dr. Gardner is a Wyoming native. You may know her brother, Rulon Gardner (Olympic Greco Roman heavy weight Gold Medal Winner - Sydney, Australia Olympics, 2000)!! Prior to moving back to Wyoming in 2006, she was a partner with Sierra Nevada Cardiology Associates in Reno, Nevada.
Dr. Gardner is an invasive cardiologist and performs cardiac catheterizations and implants permanent pacemakers. Her interests include cardiovascular care for women, lipid (cholesterol) disorders and new pacemaker technology.
She is board certified in Cardiology and Internal Medicine.
Dr. Gardner is interested in "Everything about Wyoming." She is married to Henry Warg. They have four children.
